PATH OF MINISTERIAL VOCATION

Historical Lineage of the St. Thomas Christians

“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves:  be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16

The Path of Ministerial Vocation has historically been manifested by many routes.

In the early Christian Church, the apostles were sent to different areas of the world to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Lots were chosen by the apostles, India falling to Didymus Judas Thomas. Thomas left the Mediterranean Area and traveled through Babylon to India, spreading the word to many before he settled in Mylapore, India in AD 52. Thomas served many, rich and poor, having a special dedication to changing the plight of women. He was martyred by a lance thrown by a member of the Brahmin sect while praying. Over the years, the Catholicos of the East sent clergy and families to minister to the Malabar area. Their guidance and teachings were under the influence of the orthodox Church of Antioch, which is an eucharistic society, whose outward organization is secondary to its inner sacramental life. During the many councils on dogma, certain churches of Syria and India known as Jacobite churches continued their autonomy. After the great schism of 1054, certain Eastern churches refused to accept the authority of Rome. The Federation of St. Thomas Christians is an autonomous church of this lineage.

Politics aside, the lineage of the Apostolic Succession of the clergy of the Order of the DOVE is from the line of the Patriarch of the Federation of St. Thomas Christian Churches of the Jacobite lineage in America. Mar Timotheus Josephus Narsai Vredenburgh, PhD, DD, Patriarch and Presiding Bishop in America, was consecrated by Bishop Cyrus Starkey and Howard E. Mather on August 26, 1963. Mather was consecrated by Samuel Gregory Lines on November 20, 1933. Lines was consecrated by Frederick E. Lloyd on July 1, 1923. Lloyd was consecrated by Vilatte, Patriarch of Antioch on December 29, 1915. Joseph Rene Vilatte was an American priest, titled Mar Timotheus, Archbishop of the Old Catholic Church in America. This was the beginning of the missionary efforts in America for the St. Thomas Christians. Vilatte was consecrated in 1892 by Francis Xavier Julius Alvares, who was consecrated by Paul Mar Athenasius III, who was consecrated by Thomas Mar Athenasius II, one of the new Metropolitans of India consecrated by the Jacobite patriarch, Mar Peter in 1874 when he went to India to attempt to heal the rifts caused by politics.

The Order of the DOVE provides the connection to the Divine Seed, which is stepped down energetically by the ascended Hierarchy of the Initiating Masters who have resided for the last 13,000 years in Tibet/Shamballa (the Emissaries of Light), and are moving that Light to Mayan South America by 2012 to their Initiators here on earth who consecrate the Angel of the Presence, the individual Soul.. Following is the lineage of Apostolic Succession for the Church of the Transformative Trinity, incorporated 4/4/2000 now called the Order of the DOVE, whose Logo was trademarked 11/11/2000 in the royal line of the Priesthood of Melchizedek of the Order of Michael.

DOVE Global Peace Ministry

By walking the path of Ministerial vocation and accepting ordination into the Priesthood of the Order of the DOVE, one embodies the pattern of Creating Communities of Peace, Oneness & Joy, assisting the Clergy and the Grid to step forward into the light of their personal Great Work (GW).

The Ordination process is an agreement to manifest the hierarchy on earth by becoming a receptor for their vibratory frequency. Ordination consists of consecrating the agreement to follow the desires of one’s Soul and Spirit by consciously radiating the Light and assisting humankind to perform the ceremonies and rituals that honor one’s connection to the Divine within, to make holy one's experience.

For those individuals who hear the call from within to fulfill the path of Ministerial Vocation, ordination within the Order of the DOVE’s Global Peace Ministry provides a vehicle for soul integration through service to the Grid of the Peace DOVE. The road to ordination culminates in a personal commitment of service to humanity through the Grid, consecrated by the Order of the DOVE and ratified by the Federation of St. Thomas Christians.

Ministers & Acolytes agree to hold a place of service on the Grid and in the liturgical hierarchy of the Order of the DOVE, but do not hold a direct connection into the Apostolic Succession.

Those Clergy who hold a position of Director in the Triune Trinity or Pastorship within the Communities of Peace, are awarded the title of Arch-Deacon or Arch-Priest.

Universal Peacemakers are the entry position in the Order of the DOVE and require a simple vow.
